Relax and Enjoy!
Ouidah is my favorite place in the whole world and this hotel offers a peaceful getaway that I would choose over and over again. I recommend the sea view rooms, though the lakeview are nice as well. I just personally like being beachfront. The staff go above and beyond here. Food and drinks are delicious and decently priced for a resort. There are not a ton of activities, but the staff will organize games of water polo in the pool and you can canoe or paddle board on the lake. It's also quite close to Ouidah town where you can enjoy restaurants and cultural and historic sites.

There are no restaurants nearby, so you can only eat at the resort. There is no wifi in the room. The staff's attitude is average and the efficiency is very low! There is nothing to do every day. The sea here is not very clean, and the waves are very big, which is not suitable for snorkeling and swimming. Pay attention to the big waves and safety. It costs 50,000 to call a taxi to Cotonou Hotel, but it only costs 20,000 to find a car yourself. You can consider it yourself, and the hotel staff will stop you from negotiating the price and car yourself.

No WiFi in rooms. No food order option. You are forced to pay for buffet even when you’re not interested in this. I only want to order my meal but I am told it’s not possible. Except I pay for buffet. I am a small eater, 19500 CFA is a cheating for the food I’m interested in. Never again! It’s so far from town that you can’t even go out there to buy food. No universal socket. I had to pay for them to buy me a socket to charge my phone. If you’re doing solo trip. I would never advice you to pick this resort

I love having a relaxing getaway weekend at Casa del Papa. Lingering over brunch with a view of the ocean is lovely.

The hotel was spectacular as was the setting right on the sea. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to snuggle in with a good book to relax and reflect on the weeks spent in West Africa. The service was lovely and the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. There were guards patrolling the beach and I felt safe walking along the shore. The bungalows were comfortable. The buffet breakfast swoon-worthy. Fishermen spend their day hauling nets laid out to sea nearby in an elaborate net-pulling dance that lasts 8-10 hours. One of my favorite hotels between Ghana, Togo & Benin.

Superbe endroit le long de la plage et d'un autre côté vers la lagune très tranquille. L a route coupe le resort c'est dommage. Les deux Grandes piscines sont très agréable avec serviettes à disposition. Petit déjeuner et diner délicieux, choix Accueil à la réception pas très souriant.

The rooms are average, the head of restaurant staff is rude and inconsiderate. Beautiful site but terrible management. At 7am you cannot check out because reception is closed, even after informing them and no breakfast ready. We 40 of us were to leave at 7 am, this is 7;21.
